Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
What if a dinosaur's friends come to play?

Does he mope, does he pout if he can't get his way?

Does he hide all his dump trucks, refusing to share?

Does he throw his friends' coloring books up in the air?

Time and time again, children are told to "play nice." This brilliantly illustrated board book is packed with rhymes that will teach children how. Mark Teague's laugh-aloud illustrations, along with Jane Yolen's playful text, will show children that "playing nice" can be easy and fun. Perfect for parents to read aloud with their children, this book is as humorous as it is instructive.

5 out of 5 stars I Love This Series!   February 1, 2010
E. Smahlik (Houston, TX)
I bought about 4 of the books in this series for my nephew for Christmas. The illustrations are fantastic and the stories are clever. I personally thought all of them were cute, but my favorite one to read to him is "How Does a Dinosaur Say I Love You".

Purchased the book to go with SCREATURE for my 3 year old grandson. Had fun reading the book while he held the SCREATURE Dinosaur. Was concerned SCREATURE would be too scarey for him and purchased the book to read with him just in case. SCREATURE was a hit as was the book.

5 out of 5 stars Monster fun   August 8, 2009

Like the whole series of these books, How Do Dinosaurs Play With their friends?' is great. The illustrations are quite involved & detailled & from age 2&1/2 children study them & notice new things. Our children have loved all the books & always grasped the concept of how is one meant to behave? - with friends in this case, at the doctors, going to bed etc in the other books. Our 8 & 6 year olds still like to listen when given the opportunity.

5 out of 5 stars Another great Jane Yolen book   July 11, 2009

This 12 page board book is a favorite with my grandchildren. They love the colorful dinosaurs and are familiar with the author's style from her other books. They enjoy the rhymes and anticipation the book brings to them. The book is a great tool to start a discussion about sharing. Actually any of Yolen's books are a wonderful story and learning tool for kids.

5 out of 5 stars This book is great!!!   May 1, 2009

We have all but 3 of the collection, and my 2 yr old son can pretty much tell me the stories in his words just by the pictures. I catch him telling the stories to his other toys as he plays. He seems to like them as much as I enjoy reading them to him. They are worded perfectly. I think any child, boy or girl, would love them.
