Fabulous pictures April 26, 2010 S. Wong (Georgia) My 3-year old is addicted to this dinosaur encylopedia. She is particularly facinated by the depictions of the carnivores.
National Geographic Dinosaurs February 12, 2010 Nana (Washington) My eight year old granddaughter in Tampa loves this book----she has it with her all the time and even takes it to school. According to her dad, she reads it daily and has much of the details concerning dinosaurs memorized. She has decided she wants to be a paleontologist when she grows up. Recently I sent her a book on fossils and she has been able to cross reference the two books.
Lots of Pictures Great Info - Good for Kids January 12, 2010 K. Kennedy I bought this for my 3 year old who loves animals and dinosaurs. It is a perfect National Geographic book with excellent pictures and an easy to understand body of work. Is the best book for easily spelling out the period differences, dinosaur differences in periods, and doing it in a way my kids can understand.
Highly recommended for parents to read to kids who want to learn
My 1st Graders love it December 11, 2009 Art (Denver, CO) I got these book for three First grade classes that practice their reading with me. Their Teachers tell me many of the kids read them often. Yesterday I had one kid read from this Dinosaur book and he blew my mind away with how much knowledge he has picked up from this book. Had another kid with an unusual high interest last year.
