The story of the lost dinosaurs began nearly 90 years ago in the Egyptian desert when German scientist Ernst Stromer von Reichenbach unearthed bones from several previously unknown species of dinosaurs. It was a tremendous breakthrough in paleontology, but the fossils were mistakenly destroyed when British bombs ravaged the Munich Paleontology Museum during World War II. Over the decades that followed, Stromer's Egyptian Site became a lost piece of history: until now. In 2000 an industrious group of young paleontologists set out on a real-life Indiana Jones adventure. The expedition, led by a young paleontologist from the University of Pennsylvania, sought to retrace Stromer's steps. What they discover is completely unanticipated - a brand new genus of dinosaur, perhaps the largest to ever walk the earth.
